Niina and Mark decided to have their wedding at their temporary pool house while their home is being renovated. The setting was right from the beginning. It has a pool tick. It has a backyard tick. It can roughly fit 50 people tick.

2. Hire a marquee

With Melbourne weather being this unpredictable, the plan B is either a big, light filled room OR an outdoor marquee. Niina and Mark opted for a marquee wedding from the getgo so that their wedding plans would not be dependent on weather! ( Wise words from my osteo always advising me to not let the weather affect how I feel or make decisions! )

3. Life music

Music makes such a big difference to an event. For a home wedding it is always nice to have a DJ booth or a 1 - 2 people band to set the mood and wedding vibe. I highly recommend Rutherford entertainment for DJ booth or Tobi Tobi a melbourne Duo with acoustic guitar and vocals.

4. Delicious Catering and Fun Cocktails

No longer are the days of just wines and bubbles, Niina and Mark had Negronis and Espresso Martinis on their cocktail menu and a vegetarian catering. I work with lovely chefs like Sophie from Damm Fine Food who will surely look after you!

5. Flowers everywhere

Flowers really make an event pop. Niina described her color theme being pink and red and so I thought Anastasia from Urban Antidote in Melbourne would be just perfect. Her focus is to create modern, playful and vibrant floral designs that bring joy into the lives of our customers' spaces, lives and celebrations ~ basically the same vision and vibe as mine!
