Emily & Jake Adelaide Hills Wedding featured in Polka Dot Bride

What a joy to be asked to fly to SA to capture an Adelaide Hills Wedding. Jake has been my assistant since hes moved to Melbourne. Emily has been my friend since the day she moved here, both originally from Adelaide.I am over the moon to see these 2 fun, super chill, faithful people come together. Detours sometimes lead to something beautiful. Everything that is worthwhile takes time.Emily has always dreamed of having her wedding at her parents place in the Adelaide hills just outside of McLaren Val.So on this beautiful hot day these 2 tied the knot. Emily loves sparkles, colours, balloons and donuts so these details were found everywhere. Her bouquet was inspired by Jakes love for native trees and flowers. She kept most of the flowers he had given her and her amazing florist turned them into her wedding bouquet!My favourite was probably the gelato cart as it was very hot that day ( and freezing and raining the day after ). And what I loved about this wedding was both their families. I adore them all. Jake has the most adorable nieces, the little one was hugging my leg while I was taking a picture and the older one jumped into their air full of pride and joy as she got announced best dancer for the night!Enjoy xx
