Karen Willis Holmes - Editorial Styled Shoot at the George Ballroom, Melbourne

I am a firm believer in being proactive and not letting circumstances dictate your behavior. So when COVID hit I wanted to make the most out of every situation. I immediately approached Karen Willis Holmes for one of their gowns caught my eye. Imagine polka dot, tulle, big shoulder sleeves, nude color. Next, I approached the classic George Ballroom if we could use their venue. It has the most gorgeous natural light, especially in the morning. See this lunch wedding I shot there a while ago Kathryn & Aiden. Dress Karen Willis Holmes tick. Venue George Ballroom tick. And just like that, together with Eliska from Ruffles and Bells, the virtual stylist, we created this HOPE EDITORIAL within like 2 weeks! And it was perfect. They had just introduced the 2 people ban so it was me and the model in this beautiful ballroom with all the time in the world. It was SO amazing how all the lovely people from our industry were so quick to respond and collab to create something beautiful and hopeful during these times!

"Hope is a creative collaboration that speaks to the present times. It is an editorial that wishes to bring a spark of light to these uncertain circumstances. We hope this editorial will be somewhat an interpretation of the strength, love and beauty from our industry. " ~ Eliska
