The only way to survive Melbourne Winter : FOOD

Even as Melbourne Food Photographer, every winter in Melbourne seems to come as a shock to my system and I have lived here most of my adult life! This morning as I was walking to work it felt like every step was a struggle. And its only May!!! The thing I love about Melbourne though is the Foodie Culture. New bars, restaurants, cafes, drinks &trends happening all the time. I just saw on Broadsheet that the Bench Espresso guys brought Japans famous Katsu Sandwhich to Melbourne at $28! All the drinks from Mad Men are coming back with the most amazing labels ( which is perfect for me as I am a sucker for packaging and obsessed with negronis, whiskies, old fashioned, white rum, anything that leaves you warm and fuzzy) Pretty much if you are a Foodie you will never get bored in Melbourne. It makes perfect sense then as a Photographer living in Melbourne, I would be shooting Food. Food photography! Does it get any better? Capturing mouthwatering food that reminds people of what they want or crave or help them decide what it is they should be having for dinner!Happy Clients include Broadsheet, Urban List, The Riverland Group, Damm Fine Food, GongCha, Langham , Aroma Cafe with cafes across Deakin, Monash and RMIT University, Hibiki ...My Photography & editing style : soft lighting, natural, rustic, bright, happy & cozy, backlighting to highlight textures and soft focusing to draw out the sexiest part of the dish.Warning:Images may cause stomach rumbles and mouths watering.
